Hi All, I had pulmonary tuberculosis on 2013. And after that yearly once I am facing issues with bronchiectasis and admitting at hospital taking antibiotics. Now it is almost 12 years I am facing this issue. Now a days I am having chest tightness and wheezing problem also easily getting cold and whenever I took ct scan always shows bronchiectasis at right upper lobe. I don't know what to do. Is there any permanent solution for this issue. Your suggestions are welcome.

Bronchiectasis is a permanent damage already established, From your history point of view, old ptb can land up with bronchiectasis, u need to maintain bronchial hygeine and  chest physiotherapy to clear your secretions. You need to take pnemococcal vaccine and yearly influenza vaccine , which protects you from common respiratory infection.
Next Steps
consultant a pulmnogist

Given that you have broncheictasis. My suggestion would be you practice proper respiratory hygiene with physiotherapy and pulmonary rehabilitation also vaccinations to prevent repeated infection. Also we have to check if you have any chronic colonization of any specific bacteria and give antibiotics accordingly and prophylaxis with antibiotics. If you have tried this already you may consult a cardio thoracic surgeon for opinion on surgical removal of diseased segment.
Next Steps
pulmonary rehabilitation vaccination antibiotic prophylaxis consultation with cardio thoracic surgeon.

If the broncectasis is limited to a single segment of the lung surgery is the definitive treatment ,but through chest physiotherapy and airway clearance methods you can have a normal life,so surgery we usually keep it as a last option or either if you are having recurring infections or hemoptysis ,but need CT scan image and a detailed history for personalised management ,can contact if need

Beonchiectasis is a irreversible damage, so that part of lung wont get resolved on its own/medicine. Surgery plays a part but not in your case. Only thing to be controlled is your symptoms currently
