Breathing problem at night

I have partial breathing problem / shourtness of breath ( mostly at night bed time). Sometimes I feel there might be cough stuck at my throat, but there is none when I try to cough it out. Feel better when I breat though mouth. I have no cough but still need to clear my throat every now and than. This is happening from from last one month. No fever / no chest pain Please suggest .
