Dear sir, Most of the times the breathing problem can't be due to straightening of the spine. The breathing difficulty secondary to cervical spine pathology is rare. It is seen in very rare conditions like severe cervical kyphosis ( forward curvature of spine), TB spine with very significant abscess, etc.
But in your x ray there is no cervical kyphosis and spine curvature is well maintained.
