My son is suffering from cold since a month. However from past few weeks we've noticed that while sleeping he started snoring heavily and his teeth chatters loudly and for a long time with short intervals. His teeth chatters so loudly that a person sleeping beside him can easily wake up. Please let me know the reason for his strange behaviour and its remedy.

He seems to be having allergic rhinitis which may be the reason for complete nose block and resulting snoring and mouth breathing. He may need to take anti Histamine medicines and nasal sprays
