Its been more than a week since my wife stopped breastfeeding our 2 year old daughter. Her breasts now feel heavy and are hurting a bit towrds the armpit side. What shall we do?

It might be due to some milk collection inside the breast that is causing pain. You should go for a 5 days course of antibiotics and empty breast using breast pump. If there is any lump feeling you should consult immediately
