Breast cancer metastatic relapse

I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer 4 years ago.It was 80 percent ER positive.I completed a course of chemothreapy and radiology a long side tomoxifen.i ve been under regular monitoring such as CEA level till then . In my last check up three month ago my doctor ensured me that everything is okay.After an accident i had a y scan which revealed metastatic relapse of diesease at multiple bones so i started another course of radiothreapy.should i stay on tomoxifen or i need to change my plan?

There are multiple options available depending upon sites of relapse.. If it is bone disease only thn need to switch hormonal therapy i.e. Tamoxifen to either Letrozole. If you have visceral disease thn you may be started on chemotherapy also.

If u have attained menopause... u will be started on Aromatse inhibitors....
