Breast burning sensation

My mother is suffering from burning sensation in the breast every week once ..specially in the night and she is saying she has some nodes (but i cannot feel it)..can it be a sign of breast cancer ??we are shit scared and i want to show her to a gynaecologist..can it be just a hormonal imbalance or something more serious??pls advise
