I have a son 12.5 year old ...I am attaching his knee X-ray done last month ...can someone confirm if his growth plates are open or not and he has a potential of more growth or not as he is just 5"4 right now

As per my opinion in these X rays physics are open (both Distal femur and proximal tibia) and these two physics are mainly responsible for increase in length of lower limbs or overall height of person.
And age of child is also 12.5years and male sex so there are very high potential of getting good height in future because in males growth of bones occur till age of 18 to 20 years.
So don't worry he will get goot height.
