Does bmi differ for dwarf people or it's same I am having achondroplasia my weight is 46kg 4feet height my bmi shows as 31 but some doctor says bmi does not account for dwarfprople

BMI is height to weight ratio and does not classify whether a person is dwarf or of normal height....around 4 ft in India is not uncommon....it indicates how much weight your body can handle..so that the basic function of the body remains healthy. So for you, the physiological functions should not be jeopardize d by overweight. Don't have to worry but be little careful about excess weight

Gud morning bmi varies from one person to another person,bmi of a dwarf person also being counted,do u have any specific area extra body fat like belly or hips or thighs.
