Blunt trauma

I got hit in the eye with an object and occured a blunt trauma as doctor say which has caused loss of vision,I would like to know if it's possible to get surgery to restore vision. I will be looking forward to forward to your response and would appreciate any help from you. Thanks for taking your time to read this and Thank you in advance.
