Whats the reason for blood while spitting he had an accident 3 months before he is fyn but can that be due to head injury

Blood while spitting is usually due to throat injury, or chest infection like lung tuberculosis or injury to rib cage. Head injury usually causes driblling of blood or cerebrospinal fluid not only while coughing.

Head injury that happened 3 months back...will not cause blood in ur sputum now...don't worry But it has to be addressed if it is more ..recurrent..associated with weight loss, fever, loss of appetite...or causing anemia... If just 2 to 3 drops ,in one or two occasions ...can be ignored
