Hello doc,
Does all chains of Apollo hospitals do ID NAT testing on donated blood .
I wanted to know basically in Lucknow and Noida for dialysis of friends mother .
do the hospital internal department do ID NAT testing for tti.
Is tti transmission possibility from these big hospital chains ?

Licensed blood banks in India screen donated blood for HIV, hepatitis B/C, syphilis and malaria. NAT is an additional sensitive test and is not guaranteed at every branch; it depends on the blood centre's policy.
For your mother's transfusion, ask the hospital blood bank whether ID-NAT was performed and request the screening report or unit details. If there is a specific exposure concern, her nephrologist can guide follow-up testing.
