My bp ranges between 130/90 128/92 132/100 134/102 before. Doctor prescribed me met xl 12.5 After taking medicine my bp is 118/88, 123/84 121/86 and so on. Today i check my bp after waking up in morning on home digital monitoring machine. It shows 132/100, 134/104, 132/99. Pulse 67-70 Why my diastolic pressure is high. What i can i do to lower it? Is diastolic high dangerous? Kindly suggest I had ecg 1 month ago which is normal.(attached)

Yes... Diastolic is an important component of BP. In your case, it is high in multiple readings. Met-xl is Not suiting your body. Need to change. ECG is very good.
