Blood in poop
Hello Dr my baby turned six months today. She is exclusively on breast milk. She generally does poop every day but yesterday she didn't and before that she used to poop for 3 times for 2-3 days..Today she poop and had red jelly kind of thing in her poop. Can You tell me is it matter of concern? Why it has happened. Attaching picture for reference.please help.

If baby is highly irritable with excessive cry, folding his legs while cry and passes red gelly like ke stools - immediately consult and go for ultrasound abdomen.

If there is excessive cry or vomiting then do ultrasound scan and if there is no abdominal distension or excessive cry then do stool routine microscopic examination.

Is the baby having any symptoms like pain abdomen, excessive cry, decreased feeding, vomiting etc
If the baby is asymptomatic doing fine , you can wait.
If these are present better to consult a pediatrician
