Hi From last 2-3 time whenever my father gave sample of blood for test like CBC. Blood get thicker/clot in tube. Please suggest reasons or test to identify the cause & remediate it. Required your valuable expertise.

May be there isn't anticoagulant in the tube else even if blood is thick it won't cogulate in the tube with anticoagulant
