hi sir/mam Gums  inflammation occurs due to calculus on teeth.Professional cleaning/scaling is advised followed by warm salt water rinsing thrice daily for about a week.

Please get her scaling and polishing done. This is cleaning of teeth to remove tartar and plaque which causes gum problems and bleeding of gums. It is a minor issue but it is advisable to get scaling and polishing done at least once a year to keep gums healthy
