Bite correction

How long should I be putting braces considering that the bite correction procedure I would like to avail would be mostly as part of cosmetic enhancement rather than a major deformity. I'm considering the option of bite correction so that I'll feel the confidence when I smile.

Any good treatment with braces will span between 12 24 months. There are braces like Damon braces which can bring down the treatment time to an extent but any good treatment which is going to be stable requires a reasonable amount of time ( atleast 12-14 months)
Next Steps
Consult an orthodontist
Health Tips
If time is a constraint, ask for passive self lighting braces

Orthodontic treatment needs minimum 1 year and maximum to 2 years with additional 1 year for retention. With self ligating brackets this period can be reduced so consult your orthodontist regarding it.

Most braces treatment are for at least 1 year. You can check with your dentist if the duration can be reduced
