Bipolar Disorder
Hi Dr. My father is suffering from bipolar disorder from 13 years. He was fine for many years under the treatment of Dr JK Trivedi ,Lucknow but Dr has died then we have consulted Dr AK Aggarwal, but he is not fine. From August 2016 he was in severe depressive state, anxiety suicidal tendencies till december but from december to April he was in Manic state, he spend recklessly , fighting with everyone, emptied all account. Now he is again in depressive state.
Kindly help.

I can empathize with you... see if you are not satisfied with one doctor (even every Doctor tries his best) you can change the doctor anytime as the health of the patient is the primary concern...Yes since he is currently in DEPRESSION changes in Medications must be required...So Consult a Psychiatrist for detailed evaluation and Management of the case...Feel Free to reach us... regards
