Bipolar affective disorder of my son

Started with behavioral disorder in 2012.Diagnosed as drug induced psychosis.Son admitted substance abuse of Cannabis, LSD and MDMA.Treated with psychiatric medicines and medicines stopped after 1 and 1/2 years. Later after one year due to stress and symptoms reappeared and he was violent for some days.Again admitted and diagnosed with Bipolar affective Disorder .Now taking medicines- citicolin 500,quetiapinfumerate 50 mg and topiramate and Aten 50 for BP. He gained weight and now 150 kg. advise

Weight gain happens with mood stabilisers and antipsychotics.  U have not mentioned amount of weight gained after starting drugs, not mentioned BP, recent lipid profile values.. topiramate at recommended doses gives weight loss but u have not mentioned dose. Needs certain other lifestyle changes and drugs in addition
