Hi. Doctors I am 19 week 4 days pregnant. My anomaly ultrasound depicts bilateral notch in uterine artery. Is it a matter of concern. Will it be fine in future scans

Yes it's a matter of concern This is indicative of resistance of blood flow May be a predictor of iugr U need to be out in a medicine to improve microplacental circulation

It may or may not b fine with future pregnancy Make sure u add aspirin in ur pregnancy from now atleast That helps to mitigate the after affects like hypertension in pregnancy

U have to do follow up scans. There is risk of baby's not growing properly and you developing high BP in pregnancy
