As u r suffering from bilateral hernia and elderly age u can opt for stoppas repair where in hernia mesh is placed intra abdominally preperitoneally and both side hernia will be addressed at a time . Risk of General anesthesia is more in elderly age group so u can consider going for stoppa repair

Health Tips
avoid sternous work .and if u have symptoms like irreducible swelling in both groins, constipation and vomitings immediately rush to hospital as it may be signs of bowel obstruction.
