Betamethasone administration during preg
Hi my wife is 33 weeks pregnant and also diagnosed with gestational diabetes but she is diet and diabetes is in control now and growth scan is done and report was normal with baby weight around 1.94 kg. Doctor suggested to take single dose of betamethasone around 34 weeks 2 days onwards. But i cant see any sign of preterm delivery but still doctor is suggesting so is it okay to take it ?

Sugar levels are normal and there are no signs of Preterm delivery you do not need this injection because it is going to derange sugars further
