Hi, penile curvature is a common problem, occuring in almost as many as 40% of men, according to The Kinsey Institute. The main reason for penile curvature in young adults is the height difference in the testes. One testis (usually the left), hangs lower then the right. So, right from childhood, the penis tends to settle in the space created above the left testis. Over the years, this leads to mild curvature of the penis to the left.
"In mild forms it does not require any treatment. However, when the degree of curvature interferes significantly with the ability to have sexual intercourse, surgical correction is used to restore normal function and form to the penis".
If the curvature is accompanied by pain on erection, if the curvature is increasing, or if you feel semi-hard plaques inside the penis, then you should consult a urologist for surgery. Otherwise, there is no safe treatment for it.
