Does the prostate come to its normal size after treating for BPH if urinary retention was the only symptom. Frequent urination was only since a month.

Symptoms are more important than the prostate size,  if patient is asymptomatic on medications, relevant hematological and radiological investigations are normal,  then kindly continue the same and follow up with your urologist regularly
