Attached is the image of my baby’s belly button. She’s 1 month old now. The stump got separated within 6 days from the DOB. Normally, the belly button gets healed completely within 10 days; however, it doesn’t seem like that by seeing the condition it after a month. Could you advise, please? Thanks in advance for your advice and valuable time!

This looks like umbilical granuloma. Apply salt over the area and with a gauze piece and microphone tape the area for 8 to 10 hours. Then wash the area with warm water and do the same procedure for at least 3 - 4 days.

It's looking like umbilical granuloma Visit ur Pediatrician it will need cauterization with silver nitrate stick .He/she will show u the method .

Hi, It is umbilical granuloma. Clean with warm water and apply rock salt over the wound and remove the salt in the evening and clean again with warm water
Next Steps
Repeat again after 4-5 days , if swelling persists.
