Bad smell in left ear

My baby has a bad smell in the left ear and also she is a cleft palate baby she has completed 4 months. No fever but smells bad

Smell in ear may be due to exssevive wax which causes partial blockage leading to smell
Next Steps
Soften the wax by glycerine. Do not attempt to remove the wax by cotton buds If along with smell there is earache,hearing loss,discharge consult the doctor

Kindly mention that is there any secretion in ear or not? Bad smell may be due to local infection...requires examination so consult nearby pediatrician...
