Does bacterial vaginosis occur after unprotected sex because my symptoms such as excessive vaginal discharge and itchiness occured at the same time and match up to the description of bacterial vaginosis. I had unprotected sex a day after my period ended so I'm most probably not pregnant. I had the same problem the last time I had unprotected sex during my last period cycle and i wasn't pregnant cause all the tests were negative. So do the symptoms of excessive vaginal discharge and itchiness mean that it's a vaginal infection?
