Bacterial Infection

Hi, My Daughter is sick due to Bacterial infection. We have started the antibiotics for her as per the doctor's prescription. Currently her hands and legs temperature is normal but her head  temperature is high. Sometimes it gets normal and sometimes it gets high. Can someone please tell me if it is normal?

Yes it is common to have high head temperature and cold hands and feet. This can happen in many types of fever Thermometer temperature is the important one.

Pl measure armpit temperature. If > 99.5 it's fever

Kindly check axillary temperature. If more than 99.5 , then it is taken as fever

Check the temp in armpit If above 100F, then fever Otherwise not

Maintain hydration . Head temperature will be more than body temperature it’s normal . Chek with thermometer in arm pit if it’s shows 99 or above then give pcm Syp
