My mother aged 76 has some issues regarding lack of balance while walking or standing for long. She needs to hold/touch some support while walking. Sometimes , complaints of heaviness in head. no pain in back or knees.  x ray report says initial scoliosis.   what further course of action should we take ? plz advise. She was diagnosed with cervical spondalytis for which homeopathic treatment has been very helpful to her till now.

Greetings,  balance issues both in standing and walking are a sign seen typical in old age for various reasons. Cervical spondylitis absolutely not an issue.  Rather than thinking about each as different issues let us solve it collectively.
Next Steps
hire a physio as your trainer and get all issues sorted.  in 2 months time you will see significant results

Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Hi She might be suffering from postural vertigo (BPPV ) and cervicogenic headache due to cervical . I would suggest you to take her for physical therapy treatment, that is the best therapeutic approach for her right now.
Health Tips
Avoid neck bending, lifting weights and breathe holds.
