Baby Tongue biting, blisters, ulceration

My 7.5 month old son is biting his tongue continuously, firstly he got blisters/ulcers on it, then it's bleeding as he is still biting it. He is unable to sleep for at least 15 mins He cries as and when tongue touches teeth or whenever he feels pain
