Baby fever

My baby has been suffering from fever for 3 days, and he is coughing a little bit also. He had fever on february, then doctor had given him monocef ocv 100/62.5, 2.5 ml two times a day..then my baby was 1 year 3 moths old..Now he is 1 year 6 months old..I did not visit doctor this time..This two days I have given him same dose but fever is not going away fully..After 5 hours of using paracetamol, fever is returning again..Today I wanted to make an appointment to my doctor..But he is absent today..I have got appointment for tomorrow..Now I don't understand if I have to increase monocef ocv doses or not so that my baby will get rid of fever soon.. please help me
