Hello.. This is Dr Rubal Jain ( MD Pediatric and Lactation Counsellor)
Weight gain and a sleep of 2 hours after each feed is a very good sign. It means you are definitely doing something right.
We want to practice demand breast feeding, which means we let the infant lead the feeding. So whenever your baby wants to feed, you shall nurse.
But, in the initial 3-4 months, babies sleep for 18-20 hours a day. Hence it would be wise to wake up your baby every 2-3 hours and see if she is interested in feeding.
