Baby cries in sleep!

My baby is 8.5 months old, he doesn't sleep properly at night, he cries in his sleep,sometimes it feels like he sees scary dreams( he cries like that), then he wakes up and get in the mood to play and the sleeps at 6 or 7 am....due to this i'm not able to sleep the whole night which is making me irritated and tired the whole day. I'' just too much tired of this, can anyone pls suggest any safe medicine to help in making my baby sleep at night without this crying. Pls help me ...

Give some semisolid food at night time rather than milk will give good sleep.

Give semisolid diet like dal ,dalia,khichdi,curd ,banana ,mashed potatoes,fruit puree,fresh vegetables,halwa etc

Try giving sumptuous meal other than milk at night before he sleeps. Add ghee to the meal.
