If test is done in authorised laboratory and done RTPCR report than it is reliable and correct. Asymptomatic child can also spread infection as adult. More than that sometimes asymptomatic child may be spread infection to elderly and that cause major problem because child cries, cough and speak loud via that they spread it also they usually not take proper precautions like continue wearing mask , hand washing, touching all things.

If RT PCR was positive chances are less that reports are false . Consider this test as positive and take necessary precautions as benifit of doubt. Quarantine all family members for 2 weeks as per govt guideline . Watch for symptoms like fever /cough/throat pain/rashes/dirrhoea or resp distress. Inform nearest covid facility and be in touch .
