I never suffered from asthma till age of 18 ,never experienced any symptoms or anything like that but i suddenly devloped asthmatic symptoms after my pneumothorax (it was spontaneous and cured on its own), my ige level was 1500 when i took my blood test and currently taking allergy shots , if i would have asthma, i would facing symptoms from childhood but i experienced everything after pneumothorax, why is it happening, don't have any family history of respiratory problems

Asthma can develop anytime during one’s lifetime. You developed spontaneous pneumothorax also points to your being prone to developing asthma

It can occur not only in childhood, but also later.pl Avoid Allergens. Pl consult pulmonologist for further evaluation and treatment.
