Ashwagandha tablets for general wellnes

I'm male, 20 years. From the past one and half months, I'm taking one Himalaya Ashwagandha tablet twice daily for general wellness. So can I continue the course? If yes, then uptil what period? And will there be any side effects if taken these for a long period? Please help.

First of all, this is your self medication. Health is always assessed by a doctor. Anyways if you still need it, take it for three months and discontinue for one or two weeks. Then can start again. You may do purgation in between as per a doctor advise. Aswagandha is a rejuvenation drug. But it is advised to take under certain conditions like before taking it you will have to purify body, and under strict diet. Then the result will awesome. Anyways no patients have any patience in this era. Do not blame ayurveda.
