Arch of foot pain

I have been resistance training for 8months now. When I train my calves i get a stabbing pain in the arch of my foot it goes away the moment i stop. But, because of this i am unable to progress. I feel the same stabbing pain while walking too but very rarely. What should I do?

You might be having Plantarfascitis ( calcaneum spur). Get an X-ray done for further evaluation.

Contrast bath at home would help easing the pain. Change of footwear might also help.

Please look if you have a flat foot. If your foot is flat on weight bearing. ..there are chances that you may get such symptoms.

you can go for a contrast bath....which is alternate hot and cold water treatment to your foot. This will reduce the inflammation
