Your symptoms could be due to underlying anxiety along with other disorders.. You need a thorough medical and psychiatric evaluation before coming to any conclusion.. Depending on the evaluation you may choose medication or therapy or both to feel better.. Talk to someone regarding your symptoms.

Most likely panic attacks with underlying anxiety. Symptoms like rapid heartbeat, chest discomfort, dizziness, flashes of light, shivering, overthinking, poor concentration and fatigue commonly occur in anxiety disorders. However, rule out medical causes: • Thyroid disorder • Anemia • Vitamin B12 deficiency • ECG if palpitations are frequent If episodes are sudden, intense, and peak within minutes → likely panic attacks. Advice: • Consult a psychiatrist for proper assessment • Practice slow breathing during episodes • Reduce caffeine • Maintain sleep routine It is treatable and reversible.

Hello, The symptoms you are describing — rapid heartbeat, chest discomfort, dizziness, feeling faint, shivering, flashes of light, overthinking, emotional sensitivity, and difficulty concentrating — can sometimes occur in panic attacks or anxiety disorders. However, because you are experiencing: • Chest pain • Near loss of consciousness • Visual symptoms • Dizziness It is important not to assume anxiety alone without ruling out medical causes. At your age, these symptoms are often anxiety-related, especially if they come suddenly, peak within minutes, and settle on their own. But certain physical conditions can also cause similar symptoms.
Next Steps
• Visit a physician for basic evaluation (including blood tests and possibly ECG). • Rule out anemia, thyroid problems, vitamin deficiencies, blood sugar dysregulation and blood pressure fluctuations. • If medical causes are ruled out, consult a psychiatrist or psychologist for anxiety evaluation. If chest pain is severe, persistent, or associated with actual fainting — seek immediate medical care.
Health Tips
• Panic attacks can feel frightening but are usually not dangerous once medical causes are ruled out. • Overthinking and imagining worst-case scenarios can intensify physical symptoms. • Try slow breathing exercises (inhale for 4 seconds, exhale for 6 seconds) during episodes. • Reduce caffeine intake and maintain regular sleep. • If chest pain becomes severe, persistent, or is associated with actual fainting, seek immediate medical care. • Since you are below 18 years of age, it would be appropriate as per standard medical guidelines to involve a parent or legal guardian while arranging further evaluation and treatment.
