Anu tailam side effects
I used Anu tailam in the morning 2-2 drops each nostril nd it gave me very bad side effects. Nose burning, sneezing the entire day and blocked my nose. So it basically made things worse for me. Is this something normal? Is there an alternative drop for allergic rhinitis? Please don't sa noy consult me for more details as I've visited more than 20 ayurvedic doctors. Looking for an answer for relief from this problem please.
It didn't get into your brain hence causing you these symptoms!
While putting oil drops first keep a cushion under your neck and head in low lying position...then ask to put oil!
After the oil enters...take deep inhalation with one nostrils blocking one and with other alternatively!
This way it will reach and cross blood brain barrier. ..
Also your oil should be lukewarm not too cold not too hot!
Heat oil in double boiler and not directly!
Do not roam in cold atmosphere outside just after putting oil as this will be harmful!
Cover your head and ears properly!
Rest and dont laugh and talk too much!

This over reaction is happening because mucous quantity is more in you and medicine you are using in less quantity...
Sneezing and all are happening because medicine is trying to take out that mucous but i think you are not doing it properly.
Proper position, steam timing etc are important factors...

Nasya is a delicate procedure putting just oil in the nostrils is not really a right practice. You can try it differently. Typically allergic rhinitis triggers when the allergen reaches higher mucosa. Take a drop on your little finger and gently lubricate the nasal cavities. This will trap the allergen and you will not get the side effects which u experienced.
