My husband is suffering from lower back and buttock pain from last one year , now from 2-  3 days he is complaining in neck upper back pain and rib , today his CRP 1.7 ESR 20 ,in last one year his CRP and ESR never raised, HLAB27 neg ,Last year MRI was normal( Si joints & pelvic), is it possible being raised in inflammatory markers can AS can happen , although we are continuously following rheumatologist in indore ,but he only prescribed NSAID ,sos ,I want to know at which stage TOFACITINIB and Saaz Should start, any protocol for this medicine

It doesn't depend on esr or crp it depends on how severe the symptoms are and are they related to inflammation..better to consult for further clarifications
