Yester day out of nowhere it became hard for me to put pressure on my foot. Ankle & part of my leg swelled and my skin in the area was hot and blotchy looking. What would cause this?

there can be many a causes for this. It can be due to high uric acid levels . Also Would like to know if you have any co morbid conditions like diabetes, hypertension etc.
