Anal region white discharge

I had an episode of severe pain after eating spicy food ,for a few hours after pooping in anal region in year 2022 for 15 days then it went away after applying Anovate ointment
Now I am observing no pain in the anal region since then
There is a small kind of a skin boil but no pain there
But I can see a sticky mucus like discharge almost every time after pooping which happens once daily it's mostly white, sometimes yellow and is a very little quantity..
I had met a doc and he had given me an ointment which I had applied but it hasn't completely stopped
Is it serious or something like haemorrhoids?
