Alcohol intake in 3 & 4th week pregnancy

2022-01-13 16:33:37
I am 5weeks and 4days pregnant and have just found about it. I had alcohol in 3rd and 4th week ( before my next period, before pregnancy was confirmed and once in both weeks). Can this be an issue with the baby development? I have already stopped consumption after the 4th week and I am on healthy diet, but I am worried about both the incidents. Can someone please help me with the answer for this?

If you have stopped taking liquor now, that's the best thing. Taking liquor on two occasions will not affect  your baby. More so because you took liquor at a time when placenta was not formed and there was no exchange of anything from mother to the baby.
