Gestational Diabetes increases the risk of TYPE 2 DM , life style modification it may be slow down the process but practically if are Breast feeding mother it’s hard for you to find for your self may be can hire aye or call your family to help you . So that you start proper life style modification. Medicine can reverse the situation but once you stop it has chance for relapse .

It is reversible with regular walk and exercises. Do brisk walk 30 minutes per day. No medications is required
