After RCT can't open my jaw & feel pain
I got my RCT done on Sunday 24 Sep..While giving spray and anesthesia I feel sudden pain in my last corner jaw and in ear.Pain was so severe dat I couldn't swallow the spit even.1st injection didn't work then doc gav me 2nd injection of anesthesia.Then my RCT done but after 3/4 hours when my numbness gone I again felt that sever pain.I wasn't able to open my mouth Icouldn't swallow and pain was in ear and jaw and sore throat also.But now 7 days passed I can't my jaw open ..

Some time when u open wide ur jaw get lock, before injections ur telling pain in jaw, so that could be coz of jaw muscles went under contraction and after that u ve opened ur mouth may be for hr or more, that has created problems, now it's a join problem jaw + RCT treatment so , its better to visit ur dentist till then u can do mouth opening exercise

It's normal but not even after 7days so take a follow up ur dentist.
Do the warm salt water gargles.
Do the physiotherapy as ur jaw muscles may have stiffened.
Take tab.flexon MR 2 times a day for 3 days after meals.

Pain could be because of muscle trismus sometimes it happens when pt doesn't relax while giving anaesthesia visit your doctor , get evaluated n mostly you will be advised muscle relaxants
