Hello.. my 4.5 years old son have symptoms for 2 years .. mouth breathing .. runny nose.. sleep apnea .. xray show enlarge adenoids.. my son not have any throat issue means pain etc.. now question is .. doctor says remove both adenoids and tonsils.. but i insisted to doctor plz remove only adenoids .. not tonsils then doctor say ok i remove only adenoids.. so i do right?

Yes u r going If u want to wait n watch Go fr pursed lip breathing Trained ur child to do inhale exhale thru nose Becoz after operate it is essential to breath thru nose otherwise adenoid recuur again Strt sith momentasone nasal spray 2 puff bd Tsyp montair lc kid 1 tsf in night Give fr 1 month atleast

If adenoid hypertrophy is large blocking nasopharynx, it's better to do adenoidectomy, if tonsils are of normal size no need to remove it.
