ACL and meniscus tear

I jave partial acl and meniscus tear in my right knee since last 4 months . I had proper treatment and was feeling relief in swelling and pain symptoms.I have stopped having medicines since a month but the knee lock-in and pop sound was there. Now I have again started having pain and wen I stand or walk I feel pressure on my knee and around knee. If I don't want to have medicines again since last time I had severe allergic reactions, can I correct my knee conditions with exercises?

While quadriceps strengthening exercises will help you to an extent, A clinical examination will help assess if arthroscopic surgery will be the best solution.
