Depends on the type of meniscus injury. Usually one can start partial weight bearing after 4 weeks. Increase activity gradually, full weight bearing by 6-8 weeks and return to daily household work.

With a meniscus repair surgery you will need partial/non wt bearing ambulation for 3 to 6 wks depending on your operating surgeon's preference. You will need a knee brace for up to 6 wks. So it is safe to say u can do your household work by 6 wks and most of your routine activities by 3 months. If you are into sports you may have to wait for up to 9 months.
Next Steps
continue rehab and physiotherapy
Health Tips
follow your surgeon's advice as he has the best idea of your level of injury and quality of repair

It depends on exact what surgery perfomed and how much stability achieved after surgery. Best protocol decided by operating surgeon only
