Hello sir, The cost and complexity of extracting lower wisdom teeth are higher due to anatomical challenges, denser bone, higher risk of complications, and more intensive post-operative care compared to upper wisdom teeth.

Upper wisdom tooth most of the time is non-impacted (the whole crown portion of tooth is fully erupted) and doesn’t need any surgical interventions . the upper jaw bone is less cortical too (more easy to remove). when it comes to the lower wisdom tooth, most of the times it is impacted (only a little portion is visible) and it lies deep inside the bone. it caan lie inside striaght or tilted or in sleeping position and that is why a surgical intervention is needed. thus the price difference.

1- price depends on the condition of your tooth, whether it is impacted, how much decayed it is or well erupted, and usually in the lower tooth mandibular nerve is involved which should be taken care of the most.. sometimes minor surgical procedure is involved along with sutures.. 2- wisdom teeth do not need any replacement.

Hello! 1)As upper tooth is not struck inside bone (Not impacted) cost is less, where as lower tooth is struck inside(Impacted) so more effort of cutting and removing ll be required hence cost differs. 2) capping and replacement  is not usually required, if wisdom tooth is taken as support for replacement of missing teeth or for additional support or if there is good access for cap, if patient is willing.
