Symptomatic gall bladder stones with recurrent pain , infection ideally should be treated surgically. Though there are medicines like Ursodeoxycholic acid which dissolve stones less than 5 mm in size, needs to be used for a longer period and upon stopping the medicine recurrence rate is 50% Laproscopic cholecystectomy is simple and generally safe

Ideally gall bladder stones shouldn’t be tried upon using any medications. Simply get cholecystectomy done (removal of gall bladder). It’s safe & very common You can consult me for detailed discussion
